WORKSHOP: VIETNAM DUTY OF CARE:OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY FOR EMPLOYEES: A LEGAL PERSPECTIVE AND EMPLOYER BEST PRACTICES
With Vietnam continuing to be one of South-East Asian’s fastest-growing economies, with the prospect of becoming an intra-regional leading market by 2020. As a result, the number of current Vietnamese mobile workers posted abroad has remarkably increased. This has created additional challenges for employers to keep their employees safe and meeting their Duty of Care responsibilities. At the same time, Vietnam has received a great number of international workers which are subject to local legislation.
