“FULL-MOON NIGHT” Programme

 In order to enhance the protection, care and education of children, and create the healthy and practicle playing field of culture and arts for the children in difficult circumstances, especially the children of young workers living and working in HCM City.

To promote the achievement of the “Full-moon Night” Programme in 2014 (see more information), Youth Workers Support Centre in cooperation with The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to organize the program “Full-moon Festival 2015” with the specific contents as below:

Organization time: 18:30, Friday 09/25/2015

Location: Seventh Palace Wedding Convention Center | 624 Kha Van Can Str., Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc District

Program Content:

  • 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm : Opening and beginning Art Performance
  • 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm : Awarding scholarships “Overcoming difficulties to school

(20 scholarships, each worth VND 1,000,000 and 20 bicycles for children of hard young workers who are good students)

  • 7:30 pm – 8:00 pm : Moon Gifts for children

(500 gifts including moon cakes, books for children in difficult circumstances who have been selected from the Residences and in union establishments of districts in Mid-autumn Festival and Opening of new school year).

  • 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm : “Deal out of Mid-autumn Festival” Programme

– Art entertainment program including the special items by the city’s most popular artists, singers, dance groups and singing groups.

– The lively scene of the legend Miss Hang – Uncle Cuoi, activities and interacting with the children.

– Performing Dragon Dance

Participants:

  • The orphans, disabled, children with specially difficult circumstances who are living and learning in the schools, the sponsoring Center, Rearing/vocational Education establishments, Love Classes, The Street Children House, etc. in the area of Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Children of youth workers with difficult circumstances living in the ​​Culture residence area.

VNHR would like to present to the Members information of the charitable activities together with the desire to join hands to create a playground, to share the joy with the children with specially difficult circumstances who are children of youth workers living and working in HCM City to enjoy fully the Mid-Autumn Festival.
